Krokbragd Book Sneak Peek
Although the postings here have been a bit quiet, I’m busy behind the scenes working on ‘Krokbragd: How to Design & Weave’. Many of you have inquired about the progress of the book, so I thought I’d give an update and share some sneak peeks.
First, in keeping with my planned Fall deadline, I intend to release the book towards the end of November 2018. I am self-publishing, so I’m learning that skill set along with wearing the hats of writer, photographer, and weaver.

I have some other goodies planned that will just have to remain a surprise.
I’ve been doing a little knitting as well. I finished my first pair of socks using Susan B. Anderson’s ‘How I Knit My Socks’ pattern. Now I’m working on a toasty pair of Border Socks for Pete.
And I finished the Ninilchik Swoncho (sweater + poncho = swoncho); my first foray into stranded color work. It is so soft & snuggly (merino and alpaca).
Mid-October brings the SC State Fair. The Greenlaws brought home five ribbons this year - Debby a blue and two reds and Pete two blues for his wine!
Our Guild once again demo’d all day this past Friday - fiber prep, spinning, weaving, knitting, and a display of natural dyes and finished objects. I’ve said it many times before, but what a wonderfully talented and awesomely fun group of ladies.
So, that’s the update! Stay tuned . . . .
